Finally free

Since time immemorial
As far as I can remember
I had been enslaved
By my sinful nature
Until my Jesus I met

Life has a new meaning
No longer surviving
But living meaningfully
Awaiting the great sight
Of Jesus’ second return

Jesus set my heart free
My burdens lifted at Calvary
This hope burning in my heart
Hope to be united in Heaven
With Jesus forever more

Dear brother and sister
Jesus is calling you today
Repent and believe
Be finally free for the kingdom
Of heaven is at hand
